You Are Priceless!

I've been doing some introspection and wanted to share with you how much you are worth to G-d. It is a thought we need to dwell on, as there are certainly times when we may not feel that we are much good for anything. Of course that is far from truth! But G-d’s Word is truth, and here is what He says about you:

No one but G-d can afford to redeem you. Although no value can be placed on creation, there is no amount of money that could create our world and the universe. But G-d spoke, and it was done. Though we see the power of G-d’s words as we look at the world and nature and all He created. At the same time, words by themselves cost nothing.

But it cost G-d everything to offer us salvation!

Ephesians 1:7:  In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace.

Luke 22:19: And He took bread, and gave thanks and broke it, and gave to them, saying, This is my body which is given for you.

What are these words really saying to each of us? Though His words created all, at no cost to Him, our forgiveness and redemption cost Him His Life! And He loves you so much that He was willing to die and shed His own blood for you!

There is no greater Love. There is no greater price.

This is how incredible you are to Him!

Zephaniah 3:17: The Lord your God is in your midst, A Warrior who saves. He will rejoice over you with joy; He will be quiet in His love [making no mention of your past sins], He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy.

Could I be the Secret Gambler?
July 24, 2022
We can learn from every situation and from every person. The actions of both Pinchas and the daughters of Zelophehad present an important lesson of boldness in a proper context. Numbers 25:10–30:1 The actions of Pinchas teach us that when we see improper behavior, we shouldn’t just stand by and look away. We must boldly stand up for what is right and confront it, even if it goes against our nature. Like Pinchas, we must be loyal to God and His virtues. Loyalty is a virtue that drives success. The actions of the daughters of Zelophehad teach us that we can boldly stand up for ourselves in a respectful manner. When you feel that you are not being treated fairly, don’t be afraid to ask questions, and try to find a solution to the situation. When you are faced with challenges that demand courage, remember that there is a right time, a right place, and a right context for boldness.
